My name is Natalie Soper and I am a professional translator of French>English and Spanish>English who lives in Plymouth, in the UK. My native language is British English and I have been speaking French for 15 years and Spanish for 10. I hold a first-class BA (Hons) in French and Spanish, as well as a Master’s degree in Translation Studies.

I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting’s South West Regional Group, the Mediterranean Editors and Translators and the Chartered Institute of Linguists, all of which promote high standards in the translation industry.

I have a vast range of experience writing and translating texts relating to business, arts, culture and tourism, as well as real-life professional experience of working in international businesses, schools, and theatres. My meticulous attention to detail as well as my natural enthusiasm means that your texts will be translated to an excellent standard every time.

When I’m not translating, I enjoy photography, dance, baking, playing the ukulele, and drawing (badly). I am also a writer for Visit Dartmoor’s tourism website, and I provide captioning services to hard-of-hearing audience members at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
